England boost as World Cup rivals find ANTS in bed
England have been given a boost after two of their World Cup opponents saw their hotels overrun with hordes of Brazilian ants.
Hundreds of the insects have been found the Uruguay team hotel, while reports also suggest they have now found their way into the Italy base.
Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera shared a photo on Twitter after finding the nasty ants in his bed, and later explained to a news conference that they had found their way into rooms of other players.
It was more funny than anything, he told reporters.
Staff came and changed the sheets straight away.
The incident happened just 24 hours before the opening matches in the group, with England playing Italy and Uruguay taking on Costa Rica.
