Swanseas latest Spanish bargain signing

The talented midfielder has all but agreed to join the Swans in the summer but Laudrup could yet bring the deal forward by paying Betis a fee.
Swansea have had a £1million bid rebuffed already and last night Betis played hardball, insisting that unless Laudrup upped his offer Canas, 25, would stay put until the end of the season.
Betis boss Pepe Mel said: It has been decided unless Swansea say something different that Canas stays here until June 30.
Canas was left out of the squad for last nights Spanish Cup clash with Las Palmas but Mel insisted it was due to a knee problem and not because talks with Swansea were due to resume.
Mel added: He is a committed player. He gives everything and he stood out as he always does. We left him out for the cup game as a precaution but he will train as normal after that.
Apart from Real Madrid, Barcelona and possibly Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao most La Liga clubs have been greatly affected by the financial crisis gripping Spain.
Many top-flight stars in the smaller and mid-ranking clubs now earn wages of £5,000-£10,000 a week.
It means Premier League clubs, boosted by the new TV rights deal which comes into effect next summer and is set to top £5billion could lure some of Spains best players to English football.
World-class performers such as Juan Mata and Santi Cazorla have sought refuge in England.
And Swansea star Michu, who cost just £2m, was one of dozens of La Liga players that have chosen to emigrate to England in search of a better wage.
Swansea have four Spaniards on their books Chico, Angel Rangel, Michu and record £5.5m signing Pablo Hernandez.
All of them are top players but not necessarily big stars back in their homeland. Most came at bargain-basement prices.
