Arsenal and City target El Shaarawy is not unsellable, claim Milan
AC Milan have alerted the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal by admitting they could be convinced to cash in on Stephan El Shaarawy.
The forward, 20, shot to prominence last season bagging 18 goals, and although he faded towards the back end of the campaign, El Shaarawy is still regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Europe.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and Manchester City are known to hold an interest in the Italian, and Milan chief Adriano Galliani has hinted the Serie A giants could be forced to sell their star in order to balance the books.
He is the player who has the biggest value in the market, Galliani said.
The price It has not yet been fixed, but I cannot say that he is unsellable, because in modern football that is a difficult word to say.
El Shaarawy recently played down the prospect of leaving Milan to join City, saying: I dont think I will leave Milan. If City really wants me, it flatters me.
But I want to stay here at AC Milan. I always felt total confidence from all: the club, coach Massimiliano Allegri and team-mates.
Its also thanks to them that I am in the Italian national team.
