Swedish goalkeeper scores fantastic 90-yard goal
Goals by goalkeepers are an all-too-rare occurrence, sadly, but it is good to see the old tradition being upheld in such style in Sweden.
Otto Martler, custodian of the mighty Falkenberg, a second division outfit, was the man behind an unlikely 90-yard effort during his mens 4-0 victory at Varberg.
Just 18 minutes into the game, and with his side already 1-0 up, Martler struck as his long clearance down the pitch bounced just outside the Varberg box and subsequently over the hapless Dan Sade, Martlers opposite number.
Never did a man look so lacking in hap as Sade as the ball looped over him and set Falkerberg firmly on their way to a 4-0 win which leaves them looking strong in second place in the countrys second-tier Superettan.
