Lambert taking out of the tanager market

Southampton have decided against making Rickie Lambert available for the right price.
West Ham and Reading, where former Saints manager Nigel Adkins is in charge, have both been linked with the 31-year-old forward who scored 15 goals last season.
There were reports he would be be able to leave if the south coast club were successful in signing Pablo Osvaldo from Roma.

Pochettino also insisted £12million midfielder Gston Ramirez is also staying at ghe St Marys Stadium and added: I just listen to Gaston, not his agent. Gaston is happy here and we expect him to stay and to put a lot into the team.
Southampton are thinking big this season and aiming for a place in Europe and Pochettino hopes to make more signings rather than sell players before the new campaign commences on Saturday, August 17.
