Black Cats boss tells Jack Colback

Sunderland manager Paolo di Canio is running out of patience with Jack Colback as he dithers over new contract terms.
A year remains on the 23-year-old midfielders existing deal but the player is unhappy new terms leave him well short of the pay given each week to some of his team-mates.
Colback has been linked with a move away from Wearside with Cardiff and West Brom both interested in a bargain deal.
Di Canio, however, wants the player to stay at the Stadium of Light and said: Ive already spoken to him twice and hes done very well.
Hes a genuine guy with a fantastic attitude. Also, hes got quality too.
He has to make clear what he wants to do in the future because if one player has it in his brain to leave, it is difficult.

But hes got to keep going and keep behaving like he is. He doesnt look like hes having any difficulties. Hes one of the most positive young players we have got. Im very happy with him.
Colback has recently been playing at left-back as Di Canio continues to search for a replacement for Danny Rose after he returned to Tottenham following his year-long loan spell.
But the Black Cats boss added: Now we are playing in a different way, Jack has started to understand that as a left-back he becomes like a winger.
With the system we are going to use this year, both full-backs often during the game will become wingers. Hes going to enjoy it.
