Wilshere: If Wenger goes I may follow

Jack Wilshere has dropped a bombshell by hinting he could quit Arsenal should Arsene Wenger leave the club.
Wenger has come under fire in recent months for his lack of spending and eight-year trophy drought, with large sections of the Gunners fanbase calling for his departure.
But Wilshere has hit back at supporters, insisting those who doubt the Frenchmans managerial skills are ridiculous.

And the England international, widely expected to be a future captain of club and country, has thrown a spanner in the works by suggesting if Wenger leaves the Emirates, he may well follow.
Arsene Wenger has been there for so many years and hes always delivered trophies, he said.
OK weve had a little dip in the last five or six years, but hes a great manager and people who question his ability are ridiculous.

I want to win things with Arsenal and I want to be there in the future, but if the boss leaves then things could change.
Wilshere is regarded as a vital part of the Gunners spine heading into the future, despite the 21-year-olds injury problems and his comments could rattle the Arsenal faithful.
But with Wenger entering the final year of his contract at the club, he looks set to leave at the end of the season regardless of whether silverware arrives at the Emirates this term or not.
