David Moyes orders Everton to sell Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines to Manchester United
Manchester United manager David Moyes has urged former club Everton to sell him Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines insisting it is the right thing to do.
Moyes has spent much of the summer tracking both Fellaini and Baines, but had a £28million joint offer for the pair rejected last week, with Everton saying that they will stay put.
But speaking after admitting that United could well end up signing nobody this transfer window, Moyes has called on the Toffees to break their resistance and sell up.
Theres a mixed market at the moment, Moyes said.
Nobodys quite sure where the price is just now. Weve had offers for players which we think are quite small.
I can see where other clubs might be thinking theres not enough value for their players as well.
I definitely have sympathy for Everton, but I also know if I had been Everton manager and Sir Alex Ferguson had come asking for Baines and Fellaini Id have found it very difficult to keep them.
I always thought the right thing to do was the right thing for players.

The comments are likely to ruffle Everton feathers, despite Moyes best efforts to try and keep a good relationship with his former side.
United are expected to make one final bid for both Fellaini and Baines in the next few days, thought to be worth £35million.
The deal values Fellaini at £20million and Baines at £15million, but its thought that falls well below Evertons valuation.
