Moyes gives Roo 'good chance' of facing Blues

Wayne Rooney could be handed a surprise start against suitors Chelsea, after David Moyes admitted the striker has a good chance of being named in his first XI.
Manchester United host the Blues on Monday night, with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho confirming he will wait until after the match to lodge a third summer bid for Rooney.
But while United admitted their fury at Mourinhos apparent mind games with their frontman, it seems Moyes is still prepared to hand the 27-year-old a starting place in the Scots first home game as Manchester United manager.

Wayne has a good chance of playing. He has a good chance of starting, he revealed.
But while Moyes was happy to discuss his team selection, he was more guarded when it came to talking about Rooneys future at the club.
Weve told you havent we, he added. I hardly need to repeat it again. It doesnt need to be said.
Mourinho said he has a plan B and C should his pursuit of Rooney come to nothing and Chelsea are believed to have made an offer for Samuel Etoo, as well as keeping tabs on Porto forward Jackson Martinez.
