United plot raid for Shaw and Lallana

Manchester United boss David Moyes is prepared to pay Southampton £30million to buy England duo Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw.
The Scot has identified the two Saints stars, who both played in the international friendly against Denmark last Wednesday, as ideal players to hasten his rebuilding process at Old Trafford.
Both are young enough to be permanent fixtures in a revitalised United side for some time with Shaw just 18 and able to hold down the left-back berth for more than decade while Lallana is 25 with a his prime still some way off.

The Daily Express reports Moyes regards Shaw as the ideal replacement for Patrice Evra, who will leave in the summer, while Lallanas craft and ingenuity should not nicely in midfield alongside Juan Mata, Adnan Januzaj and Michael Carrick.

His arrival would only hasten the departures of Nani, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Shinji Kagawa, who are all deemed surplus to future requirements.
Southampton will hold out for £20m on each player and may hold out for a bidding war with Chelsea and Manchester City among the clubs interested in their hot prospects.
The pairs value could also rocket if they go to Brazil with England for the World Cup and produce eye-catching efforts.
