Khedira 'to cost Arsenal more than £20m'
Arsenal may have to fork out in excess of £20m if they are to land their next summer transfer target Sami Khedira, despite the German having just 12 months left on his Real Madrid contract.
Having confirmed the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona yesterday, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to raid La Liga again to bolster his midfield, with Khedira emerging as his top target.
But with reports already suggesting the 27-year-old will want around £150,000-a-week in wages, it may be another expensive outlay for the Gunners according to the Daily Mail.
Real are reported to want more than £20m for the former Stuttgart man, even though he has just a year left to run on his current deal and is said to have rejected the offer of a renewal at the Bernabeu.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also still in the hunt for QPR striker Loic Remy and Newcastles Mathieu Debuchy.
