Chelsea plan to hijack Arsenal's Khedira move

Chelsea are planning to hijack Arsenals summer move for Sami Khedira, according to reports.
The Real Madrid midfielder is believed to be Arsene Wengers top target, following the Gunners acquisition of Alexis Sanchez yesterday.
But amid reports of Arsenal readying a bid in excess of £20m for the German international, speculation is now mounting over Chelseas increasing interest in the player who wants £150,000-a-week to quit Real.

And according to the Mirror, Blues boss Jose Mourinho is ready to swoop in and pinch Khedira from under Arsenals nose, much as he did with Willian and Tottenham last summer.

Khedira will line up for Germany in Sundays World Cup final against Argentina, where both Mourinho and Wenger will be watching with interest.
The 27-year-old has just a year remaining on his Real Madrid contract and has reportedly turned down the offer of an extension, leaving the door open for an exit from the Bernabeu.
Real, meanwhile, are keen on Chelseas Ramires and although Mourinho does not want the Brazilian to depart Stamford Bridge, could use him to convince his former club to allow Khedira to move to west London instead of north.
