Match-report Southampton vs Fulham
Just like Mourinho, Saints defender Jose Fonte enjoyed the first and the last word.
But it was on the pitch where he did the talking as he rescued a point in an exciting finale at St Marys.
No one was sure whether to be delighted or deflated after a game with many twists and turns.
Saints took the lead with less than four minutes on the clock, there was a beauty of an own goal, Fulham then looked like snatching an away win, before Fonte scored his second just seven seconds before the end of the 90 minutes. Breathless stuff from two teams who rarely grab the spotlight.
But with Saints desperate for points to maintain their improving run and Fulham always vulnerable on the road, the stage was set for a humdinger.
And it didnt take long for the first piece of drama to unfold.
Centre-half Fonte pushed forward for Saints first corner of the match, delivered by skipper Adam Lallana.
Fonte rushed to the near post and put a looping header over the defence in a slow, deliberate arc. Fulham defender Aaron Hughes headed the ball against the underside of the bar but it went in with 3min 45sec on the clock

HES Portuguese, his name is Jose and today he is the Special One as far as Southampton are concerned.

It was the perfect way to pick up from the last match a 4-1 win against Villa and for much of the game it looked as if Saints would win handsomely.
With boss Nigel Adkins under pressure to start delivering results, he is relying on making St Marys a fortress.
It is hardly Fort Knox but Saints did have enough chances to kill off the match before half- time as sluggish Fulham failed to respond to going a goal down.
Rickie Lambert fired wide on 18 minutes, right-back Sascha Riether cleared off the line from a Jason Puncheon header.
Lambert should have done better when put through by Puncheon in the 40th minute.
It was all Saints, with Hugo Rodallega mustering Fulhams sole serious chance of the first half on the stroke of half-time.
The striker should have put a bit more into a chance when a long ball forward from defence caught Southampton by surprise but he came up short on pace.
Steve Sidwell hit the post and Saints keeper Paulo Gazzaniga saved one-handed at point-blank range from Rodallega. Eventually Jos Hooiveld made the breakthrough but for Fulham when he turned the ball past his own keeper.

John Arne Riise fired a low ball goalwards, though it looked to be skimming wide until Hooiveld stuck out a boot and diverted the ball into his own net from five yards.
Hooiveld also put his foot in it when Kieron Richardson put Fulham 2-1 ahead with only two minutes left.
Riether charged down the right and cut the ball back. Hooiveld got a tip- of-the-toe tackle in as Richardson let fly to score.
Saints equalised in the dying seconds when Danny Fox floated in a free-kick and Fonte rose to head the ball past Mark Schwarzer.
