Rodwell Im not wasted at City

Johnson quit City for Sunderland in an £11million deal in August and told other England stars not to go there.
The winger claimed they would not play regularly but Under-21 hero Rodwell says the club is perfect for him.
Rodwell, who this summer went to City from Everton for £15m, said: Im young and English. Ive not got a bad word to say about City. If they want you and sign you, then they have got intent for you.
I was not guaranteed a starting place at Everton. I had a lot of injuries, Darron Gibson and Marouane Fellaini were in form, so it was a push for me to get in that side.
But when the champions come knocking, its hard to refuse.
Rodwell has made five Prem appearances for City this season.
He said: It has been hard to adjust. I was at Everton from the age seven.
Being there 14 years meant any move was going to be big. The methods and styles are very different. The respective managers are very different.
The standard of training is amazing.
Rodwell will line up for the Under-21s in a Euro 2013 play-off first leg against Serbia at Carrow Road tonight.
He is now injury free after a mission in Germany last spring to cure hamstring trouble.
Rodwell said: The injury happened about five or six times in a row. After the third time, I started to ask some serious questions.
It wasnt as if they were major tears, they were just tiny grade ones. But they just kept recurring.
I went to see Hans Muller-Wolfhart. He has got such a great camp there, loads of different people.
I must have had 40 injections. I saw him twice, he was confident he would fix me.
I now do extra work after training but I am fully fit and can just get on with things. I havent felt a thing at all since.
The Young Lions are looking to qualify for a fourth successive Euro finals.
Rodwell added: The focus is on Serbia. It will be really tough but weve got to win, especially with it being at home.
