Walcott stay hint
THEO WALCOTT last night dropped the biggest hint yet that he is ready to sign a new Arsenal contract.
The Gunners forward, 23, said: Im sure that something will be sorted very soon.
Ive always said I wanted to stay and I enjoy playing for this team. Now we will just see what happens.
I will continue to play my football and let the people who look after me and the club talk to each other and go from there.
SunSport revealed yesterday talks are expected over the next fortnight and Walcott is ready to stay.
The England star, whose current deal ends in the summer, wants £95,000 a week £20,000 more than Arsenal are offering.
But an agreement could be struck if the Gunners meet halfway.
