Titus Bramble has lashed out at Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio branding him a strange person and saying his bully boy tactics are ruining the club.
Bramble, who was largely frozen out under Di Canio last season, attacked the Italian just days after it was confirmed he will be leaving the Stadium of Light at the end of the month.
But the 31-year-old is not going quietly, telling the local media that Di Canio is on the road to ruin with his attitude.
Hes good on the training pitch, but his man management needs a lot of work, said Bramble.
Hes a young manager trying to make his mark on things, but hes making big mistakes.
Hes targeted the easy players, trying to show hes the boss. I was fined for not going to a weights session everyone else at the club thought it was ridiculous, but hes trying to be tough.
He thinks he knows everything, but he has got a lot to learn.
It is Di Canios apparent targeting of players in the media that has caused the majority of complaints though, with jibes like those aimed at striker Connor Wickham causing concern.
Wickham was branded a play boy by Di Canio in the press in a move that angered the young striker and, according to Bramble, its totally out of order.
Hes never said anything like that to Wickhams face. Hes 19 and the manager is battering him in the media, Bramble added.
Its not the first time the 44-year-olds bullying of players has been raised, with Swindon players offering concerns over their managers approach following his appointment in 2011.
