Fletcher set for dramatic United return
Darren Fletcher is set to hand David Moyes an unexpected boost by being fit for the start of the new season.
Fletcher has not played for United since December last year after suffering a re-occurrence of a bowel complaint that has required two sets of surgery.
The 28-year-old had the latest round in April, when he had part of his colon removed in a bid to finally rid him of ulcerative colitis disease.

However, Fletcher was not given a timescale for a return, and was widely expected to retire from the game because of the problem.
But the Scotland international has battled back from the brink and is now working on a strict fitness programme ahead of a return for the start of the new season.
Fletcher was wished well by Sir Alex Ferguson during his retirement speech at Old Trafford, and will offer new boss Moyes a welcome boost on his return.
