Jose Mourinho has beckoned Wayne Rooney towards Chelsea by urging the Manchester United striker to follow his lead and do what makes him happy.
The returning Blues boss was asked about the England international, who has asked for a transfer from Old Trafford, and Mourinho was quick to offer his advice to the wantaway 27-year-old.
I like him. He is at a fantastic age, he said.
He has maturity, big experience and is still young. Its up to him and what he wants, what makes him happy.
Hes a little bit like me. He doesnt need one more pound in his contract and one more cup wont make a difference. Be happy.
