Harry Redknapp champions Glenn Hoddle for clueless England U21
Harry Redknapp has called for Glenn Hoddle to take over the England under-21 reins from Stuart Pearce following yet another international tournament disaster.
The Young Lions crashed out of the European Championship in Israel after losing all three of their group games, promoting calls for Pearce to be removed as boss.
This latest failure on the international stage comes off the back of the full England sides early exits from Euro 2012 and World Cup 2010.
Now Redknapp has stuck the boot into the current Three Lions set-up, and championed former senior team boss Hoddle to educate the countrys rising stars.
We do not know how to play football, said the QPR manager.
It (the changes) has to come from the very top of the game. That means manager Roy Hodgson getting involved with coaches at every level working in the same direction.
In international football you cannot just hit and hope as you give the ball away. Its about possession, retaining the ball, controlling the game. We need coaches who believe in that ideal.

Thats why I think he would be a great choice to become the new Under-21 manager or to get involved in coaching of kids.
