Coyle, McClaren and Meulensteen vying for Wigan job
Wigan are expected to announce one of Owen Coyle, Steve McClaren or Rene Meulensteen as Roberto Martinezs successor as early as tomorrow.
Latics chief Dave Whelan has narrowed his managerial shortlist down to three candidates, and although he admits hes yet to make a final decision, he confirmed fans can brace themselves for an unveiling possibly within the next 24 hours.
I still have two more lads to see but I expect to announce something tomorrow, Whelan told BBC Sport.



Ive seen some great lads, top managers and it could be we have to speak to one or two of them again, but Id say its likely we will make an announcement tomorrow.
Former Bolton boss Coyle and ex-England manager McClaren and both out work, while Meulensteen, who recently stood down as Manchester United first-team coach, is now looking to step out in his own right as a manager.
