Liverpool agree fee for Mignolet
Liverpool have agreed a fee for Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
The 24-year-old has been on the Reds radar for several months after Brendan Rodgers failed to convince Asmir Begovic to part company with Stoke and now looks set to become a Liverpool player in the coming days.
The highly-rated goalkeeper will become Rodgers second confirmed signing of an already busy summer at Anfield, as the Northern Irishman looks to bolster his squad ahead of an assault on the top four next term.

Liverpool are expected to have to fork out in excess of £11m for the Belgian stopper, who will undergo a medical at the beginning of next week.

Mignolets signing casts further doubt over the future of current no.1 Pepe Reina, who is wanted by Barcelona to replace Victor Valdes, with the Spaniard due to depart the Nou Camp next summer.
Reina insisted yesterday he is happy to remain on Merseyside, but admitted his head could be turned by an offer from a bigger club.
