Moyes to reveal Rooney's future
David Moyes is expected to announce a decision on Wayne Rooneys future when he hosts his first Manchester United press conference later.
Moyes, who officially took charge at Old Trafford this week, has already met with Rooney to discuss his future after he asked for a transfer at the end of last season.
And despite growing speculation of a move to Arsenal, Chelsea or French side Paris Saint-Germain, its now thought that Moyes is set to confirm that Rooney will be staying.

The 27-year-old is said to have been heartened by clear-the-air talks with Moyes, and is now ready to commit his future to United for the long haul.
Indeed, it has even been suggested that Rooney may get a new contract at United that would take him close to the end of his career.

Rooneys current contract expires in two years time but a new four-year deal has been rumoured in a bid to end all the transfer talk. If there is substance in the reports, it would be the second time the England striker has threatened to leave United, only to be tempted by a new bumper payday.
Moyes is also expected to comment on his summer transfer activity, with updates on a deal for Barcelonas Thiago Alcantara due.
