Blues turn to Benteke as Cavani edges towards PSG

Chelsea have identified Christian Benteke as the ideal alternative to Edinson Cavani, according to reports.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho has been forced back to the drawing board in his search for a new striker, with Cavani seemingly edging closer to joining Paris Saint Germain.
The French giants director of football Leonardo revealed that negotiations are taking place with Napoli, and Chelsea are reluctant to muscle in, with the Italians demanding £54million for the striker.

That has left Mourinho pondering a move for Aston Villas Benteke, according to Goal.com
The Belgian international hit 19 Premier League goals in his debut campaign last season, and fits the mould of the strong target man Mourinho is after.
At 22, Benteke would represent real value to the Blues, who are trying to ship out record signing Fernando Torres and Demba Ba.
Borussia Dortmunds Robert Lewandowski was also a name on Mourinhos list, but the Pole seems destined to join Bayern Munich, either this year or next.
