Higuain could complete Real Madrid u-turn
Arsenal look increasingly likely to miss out on Gonzalo Higuain with the striker planning fresh talks with Real Madrid.
The Gunners had looked on the brink of making Higuain their record signing earlier this month, but the deal has stalled and now appears close to collapse.
The 25-year-old was keen to quit the Bernabeu at the end of last season, having struggled to feature regularly under Jose Mourinho, but new boss Carlo Ancelotti is thought to want the Argentine to stay.

And according to reports in Spanish newspaper Marca, Higuain is now prepared to meet with the club next week when they return for pre-season training, in a bid to clear the air.
The news will come as a blow to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who has made adding strikers to his squad this summer a top priority.
Wenger has already signed French youngster Yaya Sanogo, but wants a more experienced head in the mix as well.
The Gunners have already missed out on a move for Fiorentinas Stevan Jovetic, who favours a switch elsewhere, and had a bid for Liverpool forward Luis Suarez rejected last week.
