Wenger to stay at Arsenal rather than move to PSG
I am committed to staying longer at this club, said Wenger. Ive already had a chat with Ivan [Gazidis, the chief executive]. It went very well.
"The link with PSG is there because Im French and I know the owners. But if that was the case then I would be there already. My heart is with Arsenal. Im not at PSG because my heart is with Arsenal.
Wenger has generally agreed three year contracts in the past, meaning that any new deal is likely to take him into his third decade with Arsenal.
What I will always do in the future is not to use my longevity as an advantage to stay in this position if I dont do well, he said.

I dont automatically assume that I will be here. I hope in the next two or three years the club will be competing for the Premier League.
Wenger also added further intrigue to Arsenals pursuit of Luis Suárez on Friday by saying that he still hoped to be in a position to talk openly about a prospective deal for the Liverpool striker.
A £30 million offer has been rejected but, with Suárez publicly saying that the interest had made him feel valued, Wenger is likely to feel encouraged to launch a second bid.
Arsenal, who arrived in Indonesia yesterday for the first leg of their Asia tour, have also been trying to push through the £22 million transfer of Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuaín.
In his first press conference of the summer, Wenger declined to say whether Arsenal would increase their offer for Suárez but hinted a deal might be alive.
Were hoping we will be in a position where we can answer this question, he said.
As well as Suarez, Wenger was asked about Higuain and Wayne Rooney. They are all realistic targets quality wise, but not all of them are available to join us, he said.
For years we were out of the race for the top-level transfers but we are coming back now. We are working very hard and Im confident we will be able to do it.
