Arsenal hit seven in Jakarta
Theo Walcott put the Gunners ahead with a well struck first-half effort and although Arsenal threatened to add to their tally before the break, they had to wait until the 53rd minute when Chuba Akpom made it 2-0.
The goals then came thick and fast, with substitutes Olivier Giroud (2), Lukas Podolski, Kris Olsson and Thomas Eisfeld completing a comprehensive victory as the Gunners got their Asia Tour off to a winning start.
Walcott started on the right flank, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain operating down the other wing. Mikel Arteta captained the side, while there were starts for youngsters Serge Gnabry and Akpom.

Arsenal dominated in humid conditions, with manager Arsene Wenger surely impressed with the intensity of their play in front of 88,000 in Jakarta.
Aaron Ramsey fired a fierce shot just wide of the far post after 10 minutes and there was a fine run from Gnabry who cut inside, going past two players, only to produce a weak shot which failed to trouble Kurnia Meiga.
A minute later, Arsenal were ahead. Possession was carelessly given away by Indonesia and Oxlade-Chamberlain carried the ball forward before cutting in and laying it off to Walcott who produced a superb right-footed finish into the bottom corner.
Kieran Gibbs was getting forward frequently in the first-half and should have done better than scuff a shot wide after 33 minutes, before Oxlade-Chamberlain rounded the goalkeeper only to fire well off target as Arsenal dominated.
A flurry of changes followed at half-time with the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Olsson and Eisfeld introduced by Wenger.
Goal number two quickly followed as Gnabry ran onto a beautiful flick from Akpom on the halfway line, dribbled to the edge of the area and produced a fine low cross which Akpom finished with aplomb.
Giroud and Podolski were introduced after 68 minutes and wasted little time in adding to the Arsenal goal tally.
Bacary Sagna marauded down the right and crossed for his fellow countryman Giroud who flicked the ball beyond the goalkeeper.
It was 4-0 moments later and the same combination again as Sagna crossed from the right for Giroud who turned, manoeuvred the ball on his left foot, and curled impressively into the top corner.
Thomas Rosicky teed up Podolski who fired unerringly beyond Meiga to make it five, then produced the assist of the match as he curled in a deep cross with the outside of his right foot and young Swedish midfielder Olsson was on hand to convert at the far post.
There was still time for Eisfeld to add a seventh in the 86th minute as he ran onto a knockdown from Giroud and blasted beyond Meiga.
This proved a good workout for the Gunners who played with no little intensity, despite the humid conditions in Jakarta.
Next up for Arsenal on their Asia Tour is Vietnam on Wednesday, before matches against Nagoya Grampus and Urawa Red Diamond.
