Rooney begs Moyes to let him join Chelsea

Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney is said to have begged David Moyes to allow him to join Chelsea this summer.
Rooney is desperate to depart Old Trafford after handing in a transfer request at the end of last season, and a switch to Chelsea is his priority.
However, United have already turned down two bids from the Blues for the striker, and insist he will stay.
It leaves the saga at a stalemate, but Rooney is now believed to have begged Moyes to let him go, in a last ditch attempt to force a transfer.

Moyes is under growing pressure to part with the England international, with fans growing tired of his attitude.
Its also understood that senior United players such as Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Patrice Evra have ordered Rooney to go, after becoming frustrated with his attitude.
Chelseas offers for Rooney are thought to be around £25million and £30million respectively, but its thought it would take a bid of at least £40million to convince United to sell.
Moyes is believed to have lined up several options if Rooney does go, with Udinese star Luis Muriel a key target.
