Mourinho warns Barca off 'amazing defender' Luiz
Jose Mourinho has tipped David Luiz to be a future star in Chelseas defence, amid a bid from Barcelona.
The Spanish champions lodged a cash offer for the Brazilian, who was signed from Benfica for £21million back in 2011.
The offer was rejected by the Blues, and Mourinho, who previously insisted Luiz is not for sale, is confident the 26-year-old will form a key part of his second revolution at Stamford Bridge.
I have known of David Luiz from the very beginning so I know him very, very well, Mourinho said.

Before I came back to Chelsea, I watched him week after week.
I see him as a centre-back because he has an important quality for a footballer he can build from the back. He is very comfortable and confident with using the ball from the back he does not play direct.
He can improve, especially defensively. He can be much more effective, much more solid. But the potential he has is amazing, incredible.
