Rodgers: Suarez must apologise

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has told Luis Suarez he must apologise after going on the record to say he wants to leave Anfield.
Last week the 26-year-old striker told two UK newspapers Liverpool should let him leave so he can play Champions League football elsewhere next season.
Arsenal have so far had two bids for the Uruguayan rejected, while Real Madrid and Tottenham are both said to be interested in the forward.
Commenting on Suarezs behaviour, Rodgers who has made his star forward train alone, said: Initially there will be a recognition that [there needs to be] an apology to his team-mates and the club.
I have seen him over a period of time. I know it is not the Luis Suarez we know and I have to protect the fans and the players because they deserve more than that.
The manager added: He has spent some days working on his own. The group has been separate to that and working very hard.
When he is back from his international trip [to Japan with Uruguay] we will assess it from there.
Suarez is convinced he was promised he could leave Anfield this summer if the club failed to qualify for the Champions League.
The club insists no such promise was made and have said Arsenals bid of £40,000,001 does not trigger any release clause.
