After the drama of Real Madrid adding Gareth Bale shirts to their online store yesterday, you would have thought that Spurs would be on their best behaviour today.
But a prominent image of Gareth Bale which was the lead image on the Tottenham web store last night has mysteriously vanished today. It seems he's a magician on and off the pitch - he can disappear at will.
Coincidence? Despite the fact the deal still isn't confirmed for Gareth Bale's move from Spurs to Real Madrid, many Tottenham fans have consigned themselves to the fact that they might lose their star asset.
And now that Willian could be set to ditch Spurs at the last minute and head for Chelsea, any deal for Gareth Bale to go to Real Madrid could be delayed until Villas-Boas manages to bring another player in.
The subject of Gareth Bale's shirt has become a heavily discussed subject this week, after Real Madrid shirts were being sold in Gibraltar with Bale's name and No11 on the back, and Real Madrid added Gareth Bale shirts to their online store on Thursday.
But in another disappearing act, he also vanished from Real Madrid's website last night.
With the prominent picture of Gareth Bale removed from the Tottenham site, it now means that his likeness does not appear anywhere on the shopping section of the site, though photos of the Welsh star do still appear in the squad profile section.
