Podolski doubles Arsenal lead at Fulham

Arsenal are closing in on their first points of the season after leading Fulham 2-0.
Olivier Giroud had put Arsenal in front against Fulham after just 13 minutes, before Lukas Podolski doubled the advantage just before half-time.
Giroud, who has already scored in both of Arsenals opening matches this season, flicked home after Aaron Ramseys shot deflected through to him.
The goal came after a bright start from the Gunners in west London, with Theo Walcott firing an early effort which David Stockdale did well to save.

Giroud also had another chance moments before score, but his header was powered away by Aaron Hughes.
Podolski though doubled the lead just before the break, when Podolski lashed in Walcotts spilled cross.
This all came after the surprise team news that Jack Wilshere had been rested by Arsenal, as the club look to monitor an ankle knock he got in midweek.
