Manchester City wing-back Aleksandar Kolarov has vowed to help Manchester City win the Champions League after pledging his future to the club.
Kolarov, who has been in and out of the City lineup since his move from Lazio in 2010, has been strongly linked with moves away from the Etihad Stadium in recent months.
And amid new claims that Juventus are set to move for him in the January transfer window, the 27-year-old has vowed to stay at City for the foreseeable future.
There has been a lot of talk about Juventus but Ive never wanted to go, he said.
I have two more years of contract at City, so Im focused on working hard in training and, when I have the chance to play, giving my best.
I am happy at City so now well see what happens. I am a professional and I will be looking to win something this year.
City are already being tipped as one of the favourites to win the Premier League title, but Kolarov wants success in Europe, too.
The Serbia ace is targeting the Champions League trophy, with City yet to get close to winning it in recent years.
That competition is important for us, added Kolarov.
Last year was not good but now weve a good group and we can go through.
Pellegrini did very well in the Champions League at Villarreal and Malaga. He has experience and that will be good for us.
