Bale will fire Madrid to trophies, says Benzema

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has praised new signing Gareth Bale and has backed the Welshman to fire the club to silverware this term.
Bale, who had his first public outing in the Madrid shirt at a kit launch on Thursday, is in line to make his debut against Villarreal this weekend.
A win would keep up the clubs solid start to the season, and hitman Benzema believes the acquisition of Bale could prove pivotal in the race for trophies.

He is a really good player and a really nice guy, said Benzema.
Hopefully he will be successful here he can help us win many titles.
Bales Madrid career looks likely to start with him going back to his previous life as a defender, with Carlo Ancelotti short on left-back options.
With Marcelo and Fabio Coentrao both out injured, the 24-year-old has been asked if he would mind filling it at the back, even though he has evolved into an attack minded player.
