Mourinho hails trustworthy Mata
Jose Mourinho insists he trusts Chelsea playmaker Juan Mata, despite having left the Spaniard out of big matches against Manchester United and Bayern Munich this term.
Speculation surrounding Matas future at Stamford Bridge was rife throughout the summer, but the 25-year-old remained at Chelsea, having stated he had no desire to leave the club with which he has enjoyed a hugely successful two-year spell.
Matas short pre-season, also hampered by a muscle injury, was said to be the reason behind his lack of involvement so far this term and Mourinho has again reiterated the Spanish internationals importance to the side.
Hes in the same plans as all the others, Mourinho said.
Hes a player I like a lot, hes a player I trust a lot and hes a player who will fight for positions like everybody else.

Hes a player who will sometimes start the match and sometimes be on the bench hopefully not but with so many matches coming consecutively I will make strange decisions in your eyes.
I will think about the matches that are coming, sometimes I will leave out an important player because I want him ready for the next match.
Mata could be handed just his second start of the season when Chelsea travel to Everton tomorrow, before facing FC Basel in their opening Champions League group match on Wednesday night.
