United should have signed Ozil over Fellaini, says Teddy

Former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham believes the club should have signed Mesut Ozil rather than Marouane Felliani this summer.
The Belgian midfielder joined David Moyes side on transfer deadline day, becoming the Scots only signing of note during the window.
But Sheringham believes Ozil, who himself completed a deadline day move to Arsenal, would have been a better addition to Uniteds squad.

Out of Fellaini and Ozil you would really want Ozil to be your playmaker, Sheringham told Absolute Radio.
I think Fellaini is too similar in a way to Michael Carrick, but I love Michael Carrick as a player, he makes things tick.

It makes you think, where is Fellaini going to play If you spend £28m on someone youd expect them to be playing.
Fellaini made his debut for the Premier League champions in Saturdays -2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, where he came on as a second-half substitute.
