Walcott: Arsenal will challenge for honours this season
Theo Walcott has backed Arsenal to challenge for the Premier League title this season with their stunning form showing no sign of slowing down.
The Gunners have bounced back from an opening day defeat to Aston Villa to win their last six matches, which has included three league wins.
And speaking ahead of their match with Stoke City this weekend, forward Walcott believes Arsenal will be genuine contenders for the title come the end of the campaign.
I think well push on and we can definitely challenge this year, for sure, he said.
There is so much belief in this team at the moment and I think its showing.

We havent got the biggest squad in the world and weve got a lot of injuries, which doesnt help, but the players that are playing and contributing and the players that arent playing as well, its important that everyone is focused.
Weve got to stay fit, which is crucial as well we dont want to lose any more players.
Arsenal head into the match with Stoke looking to replicate their away form that has seen them win their last 10 matches away from the Emirates Stadium setting a new club record.
And Walcott believes that its testament to the quality within the squad, which has been further boosted by the arrival of Mesut Ozil in recent weeks.
Its 10 successive wins away from home, someone told me in the dressing room. Its a record. I didnt know that until after the game, he continued.
To be part of a team that has done that, in the amount of years that Arsenal have existed, is a great honour and a great achievement for everyone.
It just shows how good and how talented these players are.
