London, Cardiff, Glasgow and Dublin bid to host Euro 2020 matches
London is hoping to be one of 39 cities to host a Euro 2020 match after being officially put forward by the FA this week.
The English capital is bidding to host games at either Wembley Stadium or the Emirates Stadium as part of the competition, which will take place in a variety of countries for the first time.
London has already been tipped as a potential bidder for the final, but while that looks unlikely at present, it stands a good chance of hosting one of the semi-finals.
Each city is the recommendation of the countrys FA, who reserve the right to change the city at any point.
Glasgow has been put forward by the Scottish FA, while the Welsh FA have plumped for Cardiff, and the FAI for Dublin.
All final decisions have to be made by 25 April 2014, while Uefa says it will decide on 25 September which cities will get which games.
