Rodgers hasn't considered Liverpool title challenge
Brendan Rodgers insists he hasnt even considered the possibility of Liverpool mounting a title challenge this season.
The Reds are currently top of the Premier League after their first four games, having only dropped points in Mondays 2-2 draw at Swansea.
But despite their flying start to the season, boss Rodgers says the prospect of challenging for major honours this term is yet to cross his mind.
I havent even considered that [a Premier League title challenge] at all, said the Northern Irishman.
Our focus is the next game. Our expectancy is to improve as a team.

Well assess it after 10 games and see where we sit at the halfway point. Well probably have a more realistic idea of where we can be.
But at this moment in time, were in the reality of the games. Weve played four, winning three and drawing one. Were in a good moment.
Liverpool host Southampton tomorrow afternoon and they could go four points clear of nearest rivals Arsenal and Tottenham, with the north London rivals not playing until Sunday, when they face Stoke and Cardiff respectively.
