Pellegrini: City want to win more than United
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has stoked the fire with Manchester United by insisting his side have the bigger winning mentality.
Pellegrini was appointed City boss in the summer with the strict goal of winning back the Premier League title from neighbours United.
And speaking ahead of the first derby of the campaign, the Chilean coach says City will come out on top because they want to win more than United.
I dont know what happened in the past but I know that our winning mentality in this moment is very strong, so strong its more strong than Manchester United, said Pellegrini.

I dont need to be here to know how important the derby is, but working here and living here I know it is a special game.
It is a match of six points. It is very important to win against one of the most important teams.
It is more important to win than not to lose and I think we will.
City are expected to rotate for the clash at the Etihad Stadium, with suggestions that Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo could come in for Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero.
Pellegrini will also hope to have Gael Clichy back from injury, while David Silva could also shake off a problem to start.
