Carragher: Arsenal's title hopes not yet tested
Jamie Carragher says Arsenal will struggle to be considered serious title contenders until they have won big away games.
The former Liverpool defender has yet to be convinced the Gunners will be challenging for major honours at the end of the season, despite being impressed by their recent run of form.
But Carragher says away victories at the likes of Manchester United can help make Arsene Wengers side a force to be reckoned with.
Theyre playing very well at the moment, theyre top of the league and thats exactly where you want to be, he said.

The Aston Villa result seems a long time ago now and theyve come on leaps and bounds since then. But there are a lot of big games to come and they will need to prove themselves in them.
Once they start mixing it with the big teams and beating them away from home thats when I think well see if Arsenal have a real chance of winning the title.
Carragher also believes Manchester Citys derby victory at the weekend has seen them raise the bar in the Premier League and says Arsenal will need to respond.

I think they have been real contenders up until now; Before the Manchester derby we were saying they were the outstanding team in the league. But Citys performance on Sunday has taken them to another level above Arsenal,
Carragher added.I think its going to be a season of up and down results, but Arsenal are top of the table and deservedly so. Theyve got to go and do something against Man City for everyone to sit up and take notice.
I never really fancy Arsenal in the big games, especially away from home. They go to Old Trafford in a couple of weeks lets have a look at them again then.
If they lose that game, Im not saying its over, or theyre finished, but Id like them to go and start winning bigger, more important games.
