Moyes had the biggest say in the Championship
Who was the most influential manager in the Championship this weekend
You could point to Gianfranco Zola whose free-flowing Watford side won 5-1 at Barnsley, Harry Redknapp after his QPR side ground out a 1-0 win at Yeovil or maybe Steve Lomas who turned the jeers of Millwall fans into cheers with a much-needed victory at Charlton.
Yet no one had a bigger say in the weekends results than the Manchester United manager David Moyes.
He may not have had too much to cheer in the wake of Uniteds 4-1 defeat at Manchester City, but could at least enjoy the consolation that three of the bright young things he has loaned out recently have made such an instant impact in the Championship.
Jesse Lingard only arrived at struggling Birmingham City last Thursday but his debut will have made him an instant hero at St Andrews as he bagged a first-half hat-trick and all four goals in their 4-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Federico Machedas loan switch from Old Trafford to Doncaster Rovers barely registered among United fans, but he also made an instant impact with both Rovers goals in their 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Nick Powells switch to Wigan came at the start of the month but his goal sealed their 2-0 win over Ipswich.
As such it meant that of the 40 goals scored in the Championship this weekend, seven were scored by players contracted to Manchester United.
There is little doubt that Moyes is doing what he believes is best for United in the long-term, and fans of Championship clubs should enjoy watching talented players who would usually be out of their reach.
Last weeks beneficiaries were Birmingham, Doncaster and Forest who brought in Chelseas Nathaniel Chalobah and in the dog-eat-dog world of the English footballs second tier, you can be sure there will plenty more while the loan window remains open.
But when the whims and self-interests of a Premier League manager can carry such weight, it doesnt do much for the credibility of the Championship as a whole.
