Arteta: I could've become a pro tennis player
Arsenals Mikel Arteta has revealed he snubbed a career in professional tennis to pursue his dream of becoming a footballer.
The midfielder, 31, was a gifted tennis player as a youngster and had the choice at 15-years-old whether to remain on the court or carry on with football.
Hopefully I made the right choice, said the Spaniard.
Arteta also revealed that Ronaldinho was the most gifted player he has ever played with, having spent time with the Brazilian during the start of his career at Paris Saint German.

Some of his tricks, his techniques, his natural ability to dominate the ball was like nothing for him, but for us they were impossible, said Arteta.
Wed be trying for hours but couldnt manage to do it.
