Moyes hurt by abuse hurled at him by Everton fans
DAVID MOYES has revealed his hurt at Everton fans abuse, it was claimed yesterday.
The Manchester United boss is alleged to have been upset at barracking from supporters of his former club.
Fans chanted he was full of s*** and getting sacked in the morning during the 1-0 loss. David D Wallbank posted a photo on Twitter of himself and Moyes at The Lowry hotel hours after Wednesdays match.
And Wallbank, who has now closed his account, directly quoted Moyes as saying: After 11 years its a disgrace how the fans treated me tonight.
From how I found them to how I left them... a f****** disgrace.
A Red Devils spokesman later denied Moyes had used those words.
But a club source added: There was a sense of dismay that a private conversation and photo was made public.
United lost to Bryan Oviedos goal at Old Trafford in Moyes first clash with Everton since he left to succeed Alex Ferguson.
