LUIS SUAREZ has insisted he will stay at Liverpool and is convinced he can blast them back among Europes elite.
Kop hero Suarez spent the summer desperately trying to leave Merseyside in his hunt for Champions League football.
Yet since completing his biting ban, there has been no hint of sulking.
Wednesdays four-goal romp against Norwich took his tally to an ASTONISHING 13 in just nine league games.
There were fears Real Madrid would launch a January raid but Suarez, 26, has KOd them by insisting he can get there with the Reds.
Uruguayan Suarez, contracted until 2016, said: When Im happy off the field you can see it in my performance, so you can see I am happy here at Liverpool and I will stay.
I missed the start of the season but fortunately I am scoring the goals to make up for it now.
The most important focus for me is to help Liverpool to get into the top four after being out of the Champions League for a long time and I believe I will help the team to get it.
Liverpool should be in the Champions League and I think we can reach that target.
When Anfield chiefs dug their heels in and refused to let Suarez move, there were suggestions it was on the understanding he would give the club one more season.
But boss Brendan Rodgers said: There never was an agreement before and there never was this summer. The contract was what it was.
We want him to stay and with his contract running for 2½ years there is no pressure to do anything.
I think all parties are fairly comfortable at the moment.
The only concentration now is to keep him playing at that level and the rest takes care of itself.
He added: There are not many like him. There are some outstanding talents but when you actually have one, you have to fight tooth and nail to keep it.
This is the perfect club for him and, hopefully, in the coming years he can achieve everything he wants which is to play at the top level of the game.
His talent deserves that and this club deserves that. If hes going to be here a long time, he has a great chance of establishing himself as one of the greats of this club.
