Burnley and Newcastle United have not met in any competition since the 1982/83 season. This will be the first top-flight meeting since 1975/76.
The Magpies have lost four of their last five trips to Turf Moor in the league, including the last three in a row (W1).
Burnley have won as many points in their last three BPL matches (7) as they had in their previous 14 fixtures in the competition combined.
Danny Ings has scored four goals in his last five Barclays Premier League appearances for Burnley.
Newcastle United have failed to find the back of the net in the first-half in 10 of their 13 BPL matches this season.
Newcastle have not scored a BPL goal earlier than the 37th minute so far this season and are the only side yet to score in the opening 30 minutes of a BPL fixture in 2014/15. In fact, Newcastle have scored fewer first half goals than any other BPL side this season (3).

The Reds have lost four of their last six away fixtures trips in the top flight (W2 D0 L4).
The Foxes have won two of their last 19 BPL home matches (W2 D12 L5).
Liverpool have kept one clean sheet in their last 10 Barclays Premier League away matches.
The Reds have already lost four BPL away matches this season; the same number they lost on the road last campaign and one fewer than they suffered in 2012/13.
Liverpool have not lost three consecutive away league matches since April 2012.

Manchester United won 10 and lost none of the 11 BPL meetings with Stoke City until the Potters' 2-1 victory at the Britannia Stadium in February.
Robin van Persie has netted one goal in each of his four BPL appearances against the Potters in a Manchester United shirt.
Overall, Robin van Persie has scored 10 goals in nine Barclays Premier League appearances against Stoke City.
Stoke have not won consecutive matches against the Red Devils in all competitions since February 1953.

The Eagles have won two of their last eight BPL home matches (W2 D2 L4) since beating Villa last April.
Gabriel Agbonlahor has scored against 32 of the 34 different opponents that he has faced in the BPL, with Crystal Palace being one of two sides that he is yet to score against (the other being Cardiff City).

Arsene Wenger has come up against Ronald Koeman on seven occasions, winning one match, drawing four and losing two.
Arsenal have been trailing at some point in five of their six BPL matches at the Emirates Stadium this season.
